B&W PortraitDubai based artist Melanie Munnerley originates from Manchester in the north west of England. Her paintings, prints and drawings include references to environmental change, construction and the everyday turmoil of city living.

Reminiscent of Turners turbulent skies and landscapes from the 19th Century, Melanie’s work focuses on the power of the natural environment over the man-made and is a dramatic snapshot of a city on the edge of catastrophe. Dark yet romantic, the work explores the consequences of change and reflects the destructive power of man and nature.
