Current Employment
Practising Artist/ Freelance Interior Textile Designer
My most recent work investigates the emerging landscape of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, where I have lived for the last six years. The theme of the work reflects upon the architectural styles and construction of the city within a historical and geographical context.
This body of work is represented by Artspace Gallery, who exhibit throughout the Middle East region. Specific works have been acquired by Sheikh Rashid Khalaf Al Habtoor, Anwar Muhammad Gargash of Gargash Enterprises, ITP Publishing Group, The Jumeira Hotel Group, Porsche, The Capital Club, Dubai Financial Centre and The Radisson Hotel Group.
My commercial design work includes corporate and private commissions of paintings, prints and three dimensional textiles. Interior textile concepts for hotel and apartment developments, commercial textile designs for furnishing fabrics and wallpaper.
