Trying to remember the milk

First two weeks on the masters program have been filled with things I didn’t quite expect… Not really the focused start I imagined myself having, back in September…

From the left field was – conference in Atlanta, training on a new CMS, business case for new Web Unit, 11 classes of Learning 2.0 (that is 136 people in an online course!!!) and the organization of a Geo-Modeling event with Google.

At least it put my GTD, (Getting Things Done), system to the test. Remember the milk worked well, that is when I remember to check it. The RTM Gmail plug-in is neat and lets you create tasks right there when they arrive in Gmail. Not tried the iphone plug in yet but will do in the near future, I wish it had the GPS location based task list like Omnifocus. Although I don’t think my locations or contexts are that sophisticated, neither do I have the newer 3G iphone, but you can dream.

So the Google Geo-Modeling event is confirmed and attendees are registering online. If I could design an event just for myself it would look something like this… strange coincidence huh!!
