At Imperial College, I had the privilege of presenting a strategy on how their work on IDEA (Innovative Digital Experience and Analytics) could grow with IDEAS (the S being the addition of an action-based Studio). The approach leveraged cutting-edge technologies like generative AI, game-based learning, VR/AR, and Web3 to cultivate a future-ready, personalized, and inclusive educational experience.
Understanding the Need for Change
With Gen Z students arriving with fresh priorities, our mission was clear: to create an environment where learners could thrive with agency and self-determination. We embraced transdisciplinary collaboration, playful exploration, and responsible innovation. The future demands inclusive, equitable, and accessible solutions, and IDEAS was built to lead this charge.
The Journey: Year-by-Year Vision
- Year One: We establish the foundations with:

- A digital briefcase for faculty to enhance engagement and feedback.
- An experience center and analytics framework for adaptive learning and data-driven insights.

- Year Three: We expand:
