As the Fall 2024 semester concludes, we extend our congratulations to all members of ASU Next Lab who are graduating this year. Your work has contributed meaningfully to our shared mission of exploring how design, technology, and human creativity shape the future of learning.

The past year has seen remarkable progress across multiple research and development initiatives. Our graduating team members have played essential roles in advancing applied projects in digital twins, immersive learning, and systems design that align with Arizona State University’s broader commitment to innovation and impact.
We extend particular recognition to:
- Harshini Kandagaddala, Cam Keck, and Tushar Tyagi, whose contributions to the Surprise Digital Twin, Project Aqua, and the Maricopa Digital Twin have advanced Next Lab’s research into scalable models of spatial computing and data visualization.
 - Elizabeth Leung, whose 3 years and 8 months with ASU Next Lab have left a lasting mark on our 3D, technical art, and animation guilds. Her leadership and creativity have influenced projects including Career Xplorer, Project Huddle, Sparkhub, Impact Water, Project Nursing, Barrett Online Symposium, ASUniverse, CHS 360 Videos, and the Virtual Campus Redesign.

Each of these contributions reflects the collaborative ethos that defines ASU Next Lab—where students, educators, and researchers work side by side to design learning futures that are inclusive, immersive, and adaptive.
As our graduates move forward, we thank them for their curiosity, professionalism, and resilience. Their work continues to inform how universities can bridge emerging technologies and human-centered design to create more connected, equitable learning systems.
Congratulations once again to the Fall 2024 cohort, and thank you to the mentors and collaborators who supported their journeys.
