Hosted by Arizona State University, the Summit convened regional and global leaders from industry, academia, and government to explore how AI, digital twins, and immersive technologies are shaping the future of connected cities and communities.
This year’s theme focused on the impact of artificial intelligence and digital twins in advancing smarter, more resilient regions. The event featured speakers and partners from NVIDIA, Esri, Unity, Capgemini, Deloitte, Downtown Phoenix Inc., Toronto Metropolitan University, and others, underscoring the global scope of this collaborative dialogue.
Munnerley contributed insights from ASU Next Lab’s applied research in AI-driven learning systems, spatial computing, and human-centered innovation—demonstrating how these technologies extend beyond technical infrastructure to include education, inclusion, and community engagement.
ASU’s leadership, including Lev Gonick, Jeff Melanson, and Diana M. Bowman, framed the Summit’s discussions around sustainable implementation and shared governance, reinforcing the university’s commitment to building scalable models for digital transformation.
