Zayed University took a momentous step forward on June 3rd with the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Abu Dhabi campus which will be located in Khalifa City. HE Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of Zayed University, presided over the ceremonies attended by important dignitaries from the Abu Dhabi community as well as members of the Zayed University administration.
Upon completion, the new Abu Dhabi campus will be a showcase for modern university facilities and technology as well as being a unique architectural wonder. The new facility will accommodate up to 6,000 female and male students during its first phase of operation starting in 2011.
